have you every tried any of the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipsticks?? if not, you better run to your nearest drugstore now!!! coz they are amazing!!!! I love these lippies... I'm pretty sure you would fall inlove with them too...

I.M.O.

- the colors are gorgeous

- the finish is very smooth... not too creamy, not too dry.. I'd say it's just right

- it wouldn't dry out your lips

- the price is not too bad, $5.99 each.. I got mine while CVS was having a BOGOF sale.. so really not bad!

- the packaging is very simple, none of that fancy shmancy useless stuff on it

- it has a nice sweet scent to it that I love.. it's so girly, you'll find yourself sniffin on it before or after you put it on

- it lasts a decent amount of hours... I'm just not too specific about the staying power when it comes to lip products as I really don't mind reapplying them

my very first one was AIRY FAIRY (see this post) & my very recent purchase are CRUSH & PINK CHAMPAGNE... I believe I got these last week...

I got the Crush because I was instantly attracted to the color when I swatched it at the store... it's a bit orange-y & coral-y at the same time which shouts 'summer time!!' so I had to grab it... I will be doing a look using this lippie soon...

& the Pink Champagne just because I've seen a few makeup gurus on youtube raving about this, so I had to get it just coz this Curious George wants to see what the hype was all about... so far, I'm lovin it!!! I used it on an EOTD on this post...

I purchased a couple of false eyelash sets in two different styles.. each set has ten pairs each..

as you can see, I'm into the kind that extends outwards, at the moment.. these are the kind that gradually gets thicker & longer at the end... for me this kind makes you look more feminine while giving you a really natural looking long lases... I can't wait to use these on my looks & for going out as well...

EOTD: AMETHYST SMOKES

just a simple smokey purple eye look.. the product featured in this post is the Maybelline NY Expert Wear Eyeshadow - Stylish Smokes in Amethyst Smokes... I just basically followed the directions... applied the colors wherever they say to apply... I used all four colors to achieve the 'dramatic smoky look'....

it was the first time I asked someone else to take pictures of my looks.... my other half helped me take these great pictures... I had so much fun!! 

I'm wearing GEO Angel Brown circle lens here... my eyes were hella red coz these pictures were taken hella late last night & I didn't have that much sleep... sorry if they look creepy!

I applied this with Sally Hansen base & top coat... although I love the color, I was disappointed with the consistency of this product... I dunno if it's just this specific item I got from eBay or all Zoya nail polishes are like this.. this one is just too thick... it was a little easier to apply on the left hand with the right... but vice versa, you would need a lot of work with the application... it was almost impossible to make it identical to each other... I would probably need to very slightly dilute it with acetone or sumthin... any advice on this ladies??

nonetheless, I was still happy I got this, it's the perfect Barbie pink color... they got it so right!! I know the consistency is just a minor problem, I'll make it work somehow...

EBAY PACKAGES

received some stuff I bought from eBay today...

I love getting packages.... it's just so exciting!! LOL

what's more exciting is seeing what's inside...

yes, I got the Carolina Herrera 212... if you remember, on this post, I included this in the 5 perfumes I would consider buying... I really liked the smell of this when I had a sniff at Sephora... I went straight to eBay & bought this as soon as I got home... I found a great deal... what I didn't pay attention to is the details on the sellers product description... I actually got a tester, it wasn't used or anything but it was a tester bottle.... I was too excited to get my hands on this that I didn't care about anything... as soon as I see the "100% authentic guaranteed" I'm good to go... LOL... I'm really happy about it though... hey, just as long as I got the same exact thing, a brand new one, I'm okay with that! besides, what do I have to complain about if I got it for cheap!

I got the 3.4oz bottle for $31.80 + $9.99 S&H... the same exact size is being sold at Sephora for $86.... I paid only half of the original cost... again, really, what do I have to complain about?!?

it smelled really fresh.. it has a very subtle hint of fruity & floral scent... & a little bit of fresh laundry smell.. I can't quite distinguish what it is... but I loooooove it!!!

I also got the ZOYA in Barbie.... I have yet to try this but based on the swatches I've seen, I know I'm gonna like it....

UD BOOK OF SHADOWS + NOTW

my friend Sarah(mentioned in my last post), who is a fellow makeup whore, did some spring cleaning with her makeup collection... she was able to pick out stuff to sell & this is what I got from her....

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Palette

(the very first one)

remember this?? I already have the Volume II... now my current dilemma is that now that I have the two, I wanna get the Alice in Wonderland & make it a 'Book of Shadows' collection... another problem is if it's still available??? is it still being sold?? anywhere?? help??

& the detail inside is pretty, however, I find it very useless...

I'm also not a big fan of the actual palette itself as it is a bitch to pull out... but not to worry, once you see the colors.... hmmmm... heaven!!

my fave is the BAKED one.... uber pigmented!!!

I got it for $30... which I think is a good deal, coz she hasn't used this palette, it looks like it was only swatched by her curious fingers, for her curious eyes... LOL 

she actually had a lot of stuff... I picked out 3 eyeshadow kits/palettes... but since I'm broke, thank G I managed to get only one thing... I mean if the MAC class wasn't this week & if the Sephora March Madness discount is not ending tomorrow then I would probably get more things... I was kinda savin up for those...

SECRET PERI-WINK-LE

I actually did my nails on Thursday... so these pictures were taken 3 days later, so you might notice a little chipping & some scratches... originally, I applied only 1 coat of the nail polish on top of the Nail Magic nail hardener, then a coat of Seche Vite top coat... it looks really pigmented but the picture didn't do it any justice... it looks prettier than the picture... it's sad that I wasn't able to capture that real periwinkle color it offers....

I've been getting a lot of compliments with my nails.. so I think I'm getting a little better with application & taking proper care of my nails... (which you probably couldn't tell with these pictures... LOL)

I thought I wasn't gonna like this n/p but I love this color... it's very spring! =)
