EARRING COLLECTION/STORAGE IDEA

do you have this problem???

well, I used to... I used to have my earrings laying around everywhere.... getting tangled with each other or to everything else.... but not no more....

a few months back I saw a honeycomb earring rack very randomly on Etsy.com... & they were priced around $20 or more.... so I had the idea of just getting honeycomb wire from Home Depot & decided that I would just make my own.... 

I found the honeycomb wire but they come in really big pieces which didn't look like they're something that can be purchased in a small portion.... 

I was glad I found this in the same isle... I think it's called a vent/heater filter cover or something like that... they come in different sizes.. I believe this one is the standard size.... it was priced at $3 & some change.... sorry if I no longer have the info on this, it's been a while.... 

the ones that you will find on Etsy would usually have a frame of some sort... this thing already sort of have a built-in frame... so I don't really have to worry about that part anymore... I guess all I need to do is pimp it out a little with maybe some paint or gems or whatever.... but for now, I'm using it as it is.. I like the chrome look to it anyway....

you can use it to display your favorite necklaces & bracelets as well.... but I bought it exclusively for my earrings.... 

 you can hang this on the wall either vertically or horizontally.. I chose to do mine vertically, for now....

now I don't lose any of my earrings anymore... this is also a great way of not only keeping my earring collection organized, but I also have fun displaying my prized possession by creatively arranging them on the wire grid.... these babies are too pretty to sit in a jewelry box anyway... =)

my collection is not that big but as you can see this grid is already full so I might get a few more & get super stylish by maybe hanging them on a wall in groupings of three or more...

she's only gonna be a year old in December.... but we can already tell she's gonna be a girly girl when she grows up.. & if not, I'll make sure she will be... LOL

she loves to get in on whatever it is I'm doin.... whether it be taking pictures of my makeup when I'm bloggin or when I'm doin my nails.... as you all may know, I have two boys... so I take out all my frustrations of not having a baby girl with her.... I looove it!!

PALETTES FROM EBAY

since I could not find a great excuse why this purchase, I'll just go straight to it....

it's funny how I got the Shimmer palette in a matte casing & the Matte palette in a glossy casing.... it's all backwards.... talk about getting me confused on picking up which palette...

have you every tried any of the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipsticks?? if not, you better run to your nearest drugstore now!!! coz they are amazing!!!! I love these lippies... I'm pretty sure you would fall inlove with them too...

- the colors are gorgeous

- the finish is very smooth... not too creamy, not too dry.. I'd say it's just right

- it wouldn't dry out your lips

- the price is not too bad, $5.99 each.. I got mine while CVS was having a BOGOF sale.. so really not bad!

- the packaging is very simple, none of that fancy shmancy useless stuff on it

- it has a nice sweet scent to it that I love.. it's so girly, you'll find yourself sniffin on it before or after you put it on

- it lasts a decent amount of hours... I'm just not too specific about the staying power when it comes to lip products as I really don't mind reapplying them

I got the Crush because I was instantly attracted to the color when I swatched it at the store... it's a bit orange-y & coral-y at the same time which shouts 'summer time!!' so I had to grab it... I will be doing a look using this lippie soon...

& the Pink Champagne just because I've seen a few makeup gurus on youtube raving about this, so I had to get it just coz this Curious George wants to see what the hype was all about... so far, I'm lovin it!!! I used it on an EOTD on this post...

as you can see, I'm into the kind that extends outwards, at the moment.. these are the kind that gradually gets thicker & longer at the end... for me this kind makes you look more feminine while giving you a really natural looking long lases... I can't wait to use these on my looks & for going out as well...

BOOTS HEAVEN

my AMI Clubwear package came in today... & these are what's inside...

notice how one of the boxes is actually from Charlotte Russe? I was pretty surprised about that but thought it was kinda neat!

this is suede boots overload!!! I feel like I'm in boots heaven..... **sigh**

& did you notice that there are only three pairs of boots, when I actually ordered 4 pairs(see this post)?? I hate when my stuff gets back ordered... I hate waiting, especially when it's the pair that I love the most... but oh well!!

AMI has the best timing ever!! I got them in time for our Vegas trip... we are leaving tonight & coming back Sunday... I am one happy camper!!

yes, I finally got my own, since I was the only one who didn't own one... I used to have a red one from back in high school, but I don't know what happened to it... I'm pretty sure it's just in the garage somewhere... one of these days I'm gonna go hunt for it coz I know I can still wear it.. I'm sure it's still in pretty good shape coz I'm really good with caring for my shoes like that...

Deion's red & black high top ones (previously Devean's) just recently got handed down to their 21 month old cousin-Aidann... so to complete the whole family, we have to get Deion one too... hahaha... yeah yeah we're a family of cornies... LOL

from L-R Devean's, Mommy's (size 2.5 kids.. don't be makin fun of my tiny feet!! LOL), Daddy's black, then navy blue....

I'm adding baby blue on my wish list...
