I was about ready to write a new post when I glanced at the list and noticed one post that does not say 'VIEW'... shoot!!! an unpublished post....
but I'm a big believer of "it's better late than never"... so here's the post that I thought I published but didn't....

I don't usually follow the trend... for some reason the new collection, new makeups from different brands don't interest me... I mean I am updated on what's hot or what not but I never buy new stuff right away... instead, I find my self buying those things a few weeks or even months later... usually when most stores or when websites no longer have them in stock.... I dunno why! maybe I just wait for the crowd to die down?!? or maybe I'm just weird like that....
so I've been droolin on the Petals & Peacocks lipstick from the MAC Liberty of London for a while now....
while writing this post, I just realized why I don't jump in on new stuff right away.. I think really what it is is that I think about it a lot of times first, weigh it out... if I really should or should not, before I buy a certain product... there are times that I wait, probably so it would be gone or sold out because I know for a fact that I probably don't need that certain product anyway.... sometimes it's easier to be all disappointed that you missed an item than really getting it then end up using it only a couple of times or worse yet, end up not liking it at all... there are some items that I would be all excited about for a couple of days then would forget about it right after... but there are some that really would not let me sleep at night.... & one of those is the Petals & Peacocks...
this collection was realeased here in the US in early March.... imagine, 2 months of lemming on it... geez!! I think that was more than enough thinking time doncha think??? you won't believe how many times I went on the MAC Cosmetics website & added this lippie on my cart but never really bought it.... until finally deciding to purchase it, it was already out of stock!!!!! I almost cried!! just when I was really decided on getting something! but I said, oh well! I just thought it was probably not meant to be.... that's something I tell my self whenever I need help getting over something....
but I went to the mall last Tuesday & I found it at the MAC counter at Macy's... the MAC girl said they have four left.... **gasp** but I didn't buy it yet because again I wanna make sure I really really like & need this lippie.... & let me tell you the story what really really really convinced me to get it....
so I tried it on, went home with it on.... guess what happened??? my man commented about it... he said, "wow, I like your lips right now" then said something that I don't think I can share with you here, coz it would probably get censored!! LOL.... let's just say it's TMI! I'll just let your imagination work on that one... anyways, in my attempt to get more info from him, I said "well, I've worn a color like this... remember the one that I wore at the JoKoy show!?" (click HERE to see pictures on the JoKoy post)... he told me this one is different because it has more of a purple tint to it.... I was in awe! Holy geez!! I can't believe he actually said that.. I mean just when I thought men never really cared.... I am now convinced that they actually pay attention... never underestimate your man, ladies!! haha... I was just in so much amazement that, he not only noticed but actually added his opinion about that lippie.... this totally made me call MAC right away to have one reserved for me.... & I picked it up today along with two other items.... they said they only had two left including mine... yikes!!
I got the 100 sheet wipes... coz I'm a lazy ass... sometimes I just like to wipe then crash...
the Blacktrack Fluid Line, which I wasn't planning on buying at all... but my L'Oreal H.I.P. cream liner is dryin out on me coz I haven't used it in a while.. when I put it on my lashline, little flakes get in my eyes & irritate them.... that's no bueno! so I decided it's time to invest on a good quality one...

that story is too funny and I can totally relate. i'm always 1 season behind fashion/makeup trends. and your bf is awesome for even noticing a difference in your lippies! my bf TRIES to get into the whole makeup terminology and colors and stuff, but it's not working out for him. oh well he still gets hugs and kisses for trying. :D great post and yes that color is to die for (luckily i got it when it first came out).
