Sephora don't care whether a person is unemployed or not... it'll lure you in no matter what because Sephora don't understand.... LOL... man! I'm telling you, cosmetic addiction is no joke.. it's no different to being addicted with illegal drugs, gambling or alcohol... it'll take your money until you hit rock bottom... man! I dunno why I listen to these makeup gurus who tell you to embrace this kind of addiction... LOL.... just playin ladies!! still love you & all y'all's work....
that is why I did a lot of embracing last week & I got a lotta lovin back.....

my sister from China, who by the way lost access to her blogspot account, which we both cried about for a whole month, sent me some goods from ova there... Juicy Couture bags & other designer handbags, cute summer dresses-slash-skirts & Maxi dresses, accessories & Roxy flip flops... stuff that I was gonna try & sell on eBay... with all those stuff are some accessories she included just for me... just wanted to share them to you guys....

when I'm bored at home & doesn't have much money to spend, what do I do? I go out & hit the drugstores, buy some more makeup shit when I should just spend the little money I got on a set of handcuffs (or even better a tranquilizer).... so when I get the itch to buy stuff I can just cuff my self to a post & swallow the key... LOL...

so yeee, I did my rounds at Target & Wal-Mart this time and here are the stuff that I got... thank G, I didn't really see a lotta stuff...

StudioTools CONTOUR BRUSH & ANGLED LINER BRUSH.. I love this line of brushes from Target, they're cheap yet quality brushes... both of these brushes are probably only less than 5 bucks...

Sonia Kashuk's BLENDING SPONGE & BENT LINER BRUSH

I got this coz I heard it makes precise line on the lash line... okay, I'm lyin!! I got it coz it looks cool!! I mean a bent brush?! hell yeah!! the question is, will I be able to work this brush?? hahaha... I guess we'll see...

most of you know that I already have the Beauty Blender sponges from Sephora from a while back... I've been using it with liquid foundations & I haven't had any problems with it, in fact, I love it! the only thing that irritates me is the cleaning part, now as most of you Revlon-ColorStay-wearers know, that particular foundation really "colorstays", yes even on the sponge... so I decided I would use the more expensive blender sponge for foundations that don't stick & buy a dupe for the ones that gets the sponge discolored... this one is like $10-20 cheaper than the sponge from Sephora...

I also got the Dr. Bronner's PURE-CASTILLE SOAP coz I am running low on my blendercleanser... I heard this is a good cleanser not only for the sponge but for brushes as well... it is also a 18-in-1 cleanser... I have yet to figure out the other 17 purposes of this cleanser but I'm pretty sure I'll figure it out eventually...

since I needed a good sunblock for the summer time, I got the Aveeno SUNBLOCK LOTION... SPF 55 should be purrdy good...

and finally the Revlon CONTOUR BRUSH, which I got from Wal-Mart... this probably cost me less than 3 bucks... the essence of BEAUTY POWDER BRUSH was from CVS... I bought this a few days earlier, it went on sale for less than $5 [I think] so I grabbed it to add to my cheek contour brush collection...

BECAUSE I LOVE YOU BRACELET

so, I picked up my son from school today... he usually have a paper/art of some sort on his hand but not today... instead he had a bracelet on his wrist... so I asked why he didn't have any art stuff today & he said, "coz I made this bracelet for you.... because I love you!"... awwwww..... the feeling after that was awesome!!!!
I sported it everywhere, I had it on the whole day... I didn't care if people were lookin at me all weird... it was the best bracelet I've ever owned in my whole life...


after I picked up Devean from school, me & Nanay stopped by Longs drugstore which is now owned by CVS by the way... so whatever sale CVS is having, Longs have it too... I didn't get anything on sale however... I just got a face powder brush & a couple of NYX single eyeshadows in (from L to R) HIGHLIGHT & BROWN...

DISCOUNT MALL

since my son started pre-K camp, I've been hitting up the store near their school - the Discount Mall... I know, I know!! but that's where I found the Red Cherry lashes so I don't care what people say... LOL... I've been goin there just to check out if I can find other stuff... & also, I just recently started selling stuff on ebay so I'm on the look out for cheap, cool stuff that I might be able to make money out of...

I didn't really find anything worth buying then selling... there are a lot of cute clothes but I don't think clothes will make that much profit if sold on ebay unless I get them in bulk/wholesale... so, I just picked up a few things, not things that I really have to get but did, just coz!

REVLON CRAZY

so, my fave drugstore had a BOGO free sale on their Revlon ColorStay products & you guessed it right!! I was there!! & here are the stuff I got...












ok, so I went ColorStay crazy... the products from that line are just really good!! I've heard so much good things about them... I love the foundation so much so I thought I'd try other stuff as well... if you are following my blog religiously, then you would know that I now have 4 different shades of the ColorStay liquid foundation... the first ones I got were the Normal/Dry skin in Fresh Beige & Medium Beige from my BOGO free Revlon post... then this time I got Combination/Oily skin in Golden Beige & Warm Golden... I'm doin an experiment to see which shade is best for my skin tone... If I get the chance, I'll probably post pictures for comparison, that's if I get the chance to... it's friggin hectic these past few days so I dunno! so far, I'm really devoted to the Fresh Beige, the Warm Golden might be a little dark for me, although I've only used it twice & I think I might've used a little too much bronzer both times... the Medium Beige is almost like the Fresh Beige one just a teeny bit darker... I haven't really experimented with the Golden Beige as of yet... but no matter what, I've decided to keep all of them... they are really great & maybe I can use the darker ones when & if I get tanned... I can only wish!!!! **sigh**

I also got one of the new Mineral Finishing Powder in Suntan Matte... I think this product has a really good finish especially if you want to get that natural tan without getting too much shimmers on your face... MAC Mineralize Skinfinish dupe?? I dunno, I only own one MSF & it's the skin tone ones... LOL... but even without having tried the MAC ones, I could say it could be a really good dupe, if not better... the thing that I love about this is that the product that gets into your brush, regardless of the number of swipes on it, is very minimal... that means you don't deposit that much on your face... while the one that I have(Medium/Natural & Shimmer) gets too powdery after a couple of swipes... but like I said I only have one so I don't really have the right to give it a bad review, plus regardless of it being too powdery, I still like my MAC MSF... I know! I don't make sense sometimes.. LOL...

I got a pressed powder as well, I just wanted to see if my ColorStay foundation would look really good if paired with its partner-in-crime... & IMO, not really! the Coastal Scents Silica Powder does a better job... it is still my go-to setting powder, still irreplaceable... as of now anyway! but I think I will keep this powder, I have a feeling it will eventually be useful to me...

one of the products I've heard people ravin about is the concealer from this line... I have yet to try it but I'm definitely excited to! why?? coz the friggin MUFE concealer palette that I got, gots to go! it's not creamy enough for me... it dries out on my skin faster than anything... then it gets flaky before I even get to cover it with foundation... it is sooo going back to Sephora.... it might've worked for other people but not on my stinkin face...











another thing I picked up today is the Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover... another new thing I wanted to try & so far so good... it doesn't feel oily like the Neutrogena one... but I need more time & trials to reach a verdict...

SWEET! RED CHERRIES

just a quick post before I start getting ready for tonight... we're havin' Davi's birthday celebration tonight instead of his actual birthday, which is on the 13th.... coz all of our friends are gonna be here, we're gonna be complete only this weekend, so my friend Michelle thought of just doin our thing this week....

I just really have to post this as I am soooooooo stoked on what I found today!! I went to one of the local discount malls here in town in desperation to find a big brown belt which I forgot to get at the mall & since the discount mall is just about a block or 2 from my house I just decided to go there real quick... well, I found some red cherry falsies there for $1.99! sweeeeet!!!! I could not believe my eyes when I saw them, I thought I was dreamin!! hahaha... okay so I'm over reacting, it's just that I never thought I would find them there or anywhere... so I picked up four different styles & one Bliss brand(?) not sure if this has good quality so I just got one to test it out... I got them in #42, #66, #99 & #600...I also picked up a couple of makeup brushes, it's the Stella France brand(?) one eyeshadow brush that I can use for blending or highlighting & one angle shadow brush that's perfect for putting shadows on the bottom lash line... it's a little bit flimsy though so we'll see how it does... I might wear one of the Red Cherry falsies tonight so just watch out for pictures from tonight's event... I better go coz I still have to do mah nails... see ya all laters!!

I'm also excited as I got my very first lip liners... this must be what's missin on the swatches I did when I tried the lipsticks I got the last time... the Auburn is perfect for darker shades of lipstick while the Natural could be paired with nude lipsticks...
